You know why the work matters. Your website doesn't.
The facts are there.
The feeling is missing.
Most organizations do not have a value problem. They have a translation problem.
I help leaders find the gap between what they mean, what they say, and what people actually understand. Then we decide what to change, and what to leave alone.
The facts are there.
The feeling is missing.
Marketing says one thing. Leadership says another.
The customer gets the leftovers.
They share a name.
They don't see each other often.
Another campaign. Another deck.
Another content calendar. Anything except the decision underneath all of it.
A new homepage can't rescue a decision your team hasn't made.
Another year of good work that nobody chooses. A team that can't answer "why us" the same way twice. A budget that keeps buying activity, because activity is easier to get approved than a decision.
For more than 15 years, I have moved between boardrooms and communities, spreadsheets and stories, global brands and neighborhood entrepreneurs.
Today, I bring that way of working to Goodwill of Colorado. It was shaped in some very different rooms, including Mi Casa Resource Center and UCHealth, to Arrow Electronics, The Integer Group, and Big Bend Regional Hospital District.
Bring the question your team keeps circling. Tell me what you're trying to decide and why it matters now.
We look at what people say, do, choose and experience. Not only what the brief claims.
You leave knowing what to keep, change, stop, or test. No 72-page monument to PowerPoint required.
Preference Check
The question — why should the right person choose you?
You leave with — three calls: keep this, clarify this, test this.
Sea of Sameness Lab
The question — what has your whole category learned to say?
You leave with — a clear view of the sea, the few who escape it, and where you can stand without pretending to be someone else.
Translation Gap Lab
The question — where does the meaning change on the way to the customer?
You leave with — four decisions: protect, clarify, stop, test.
Engagements typically run two to six weeks.
I work on customer understanding, positioning, communication, experience, and the decisions beneath them. I do not manage campaigns, social media, websites, legal or regulatory work, or financial advice. I will not quietly move into your Slack and become an employee nobody remembers hiring.
After our work, you should need less of me, not more.
Tell me what you're trying to decide and what's in the way. If I can help, I'll say so. If I can't, I'll tell you who can.
